Hour 1:

Curtis Stevenson is in the studio with Ethan, filling in for Chris Perkins today. The guys sift through the Derrick Rose rumors, play some of Payton Manning’s jokes from last night’s ESPY’s, and discuss Lonzo Ball’s impressive performance in the Summer League. Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman says that players need to strike to get better paychecks. The guys discuss whether Sherman is right. Calvin Johnson recently stated that the Lion’s poor play was a factor in his decision to retire, so Curtis and Ethan talk whether this was a good move and what it means for his legacy.

Hour 2:
TMZ reported Chris Bosh is mulling a return to the NBA, despite his health issues. Ethan and Curtis discuss whether this is a good idea, and who the Heat should use their exception on. The Palm Beach Post’s Matt Porter called into the show to talk about Gerald Willis taking a leave of absence from the University of Miami’s football program, ACC media days, and the lookout on the Hurricane’s upcoming season.

Hour 3:
The Mayweather-McGregor press conference tour goes on, and so do the bleeps on our air. The guys play some of the best quotes from the conference and breakdown the hype versus reality of the fight. With so much trash talking in the conference, we hit the text machine to see who could go toe-to-toe with McGregor. Woj says that the Indiana Pacers offered Paul George to the Golden State Warriors for Klay Thompson and the Warriors denied it. The guys breakdown what the trade would have meant for the league and whether it would have been a good deal for either party.
