Tobin, Leroy, and Beast: Boxing is Back!

LISTEN TO HOUR 1

Tobin and Leroy are in Las Vegas and preview Ward-Kovalev and Tobin feels like a kid in the candy store with the McGregor-Mayweather news. Beast and Leroy compare the Louisville sanctions to the University of Miami cruise gifting. Leroy gives a preview of the U.S. Open and the guys suspect that he's missing it for his son's graduation because his game isn't where it needs to be. Beast says that the U.S. Open is different from the Masters because it is on a different course every year. Leroy says every boxing fight "ends in controversy." They give the full breakdown on Mayweather-McGregor and Tobin says he wasn't that surprised that the fight is on. Tobin says boxing has had a much better year than the UFC this year. Beast thinks that Mayweather should take a dive for two more fights and big paydays. Leroy and Tobin vehemently disagree. The crew discusses Heat rumors after seeing Gordon Hayward spending time in Miami. Beast brings up a study that gamers last longer in bed and Tobin correctly brings up that it's not because of their prowess but their ambivalence.

Tobin grills boxing fans for complaining about the integrity of their sport while they otherwise wouldn't see Mayweather fight. Beast wonders if the lack of popularity in boxing is because the best fighters aren't American. Leroy calls Rocky's fights side shows which enrages Beast. Beast tries to figure out ways for Tobin and Leroy to incite a fight at the Ward-Kovalev press conference. Leroy ran into a couple nice ladies on the plane and Beast says that they were probably hired help. Tobin says that the bees at Dolphins practice need to be eradicated and that it's all fun and games unitl Ajayi gets stung and is out for the season. The guys go over the prop bets for the Mayweather-McGregor fight. The guys debate the best rematches of all time.
